Does this sound like you?

  • New dryness causes my vagina is itchy, uncomfortable, and even painful at times.
  • I have Lichen Sclerosus and creams do not consistently relieve my symptoms.
  • Sex is less interesting because of decreased sensation or pain from dryness or a different vaginal pain.
  • My vagina feels “stretched or relaxed” after childbirth or over recent years.

How we can help:

Morpheus8V, medications or both.

We might prescribe a combination of medications targeting the problem, such as estrogen cream for the vulva and vagina, or maybe a steroid cream. We also might use office treatments such as Morpheus8V, which uses both microneedling and radio frequency outside and inside the vagina to rehabilitate tissues, induce collagen production and increase natural lubrication.

Here’s how it works:

Microneedling causes tiny, controlled tissue damage in small channels that will then be healed naturally with your body’s new healthy tissues. As your body fills in the tiny channels, those areas are filled with new cells, collagen and elastin, new blood flow, and new nerves. Radio Frequency brings heat to the area, which causes the deep tissues to tighten and speeds the healing process.

This is what to expect during and after:

Treated areas must be completely hair-free.

Numbing cream is used prior to the procedure. The Morpheus8V device is made specially to fit the vaginal canal. Your provider will apply the M8V to the tissues of the vulva, the labia, urethra, and inside the vaginal canal in a rotating, clockwise pattern. When all tissues are treated, your provider will apply a growth factor/stem cell serum inside the vagina and on the vulva to speed the healing process and amplify the new cell growth. Pelvic rest is recommended for one week after treatment; nothing should be placed in the vagina. You may have slight tenderness on the vulva where you were treated; this should resolve quickly within a day.

Morpheus8-V Radio Frequency and Microneedling

Morpheus8-V Radio Frequency and Microneedling- this technology is used on the delicate tissue of the bikini area; vulva, labia, and inside the vaginal canal. Expected results are the same with any M8 treatment; forcing new tissue to form. New tissue growth leads to more elasticity of the vaginal canal, increased sensation and blood flow, and increased ability to lubricate vaginal tissues. Morpheus8-V is being used for the treatment of menopausal vaginal atrophy and laxity, and currently is in trials for the treatment of vaginal lichen sclerosus.

Morpheus8-V treatments are also popular for the treatment of mild bladder incontinence (leaking) that occurs with fitness exercises, sexual activities, and everyday pelvic floor stressors like coughing or laughing.
